This specific HX30W model is equipped with a larger 46mm compressor wheel inducer compared to standard HX30 variants (40mm-44mm), facilitating greater airflow for increased power potential. The accompanying 6cm² turbine housing is key to its performance characteristics, enabling quicker boost response and reduced turbo lag. This setup is particularly beneficial in scenarios demanding fast acceleration and immediate power, such as street driving, competitive motorsports, and demanding off-road conditions. The turbocharger boasts a 65mm inducer turbine wheel and a 52mm exducer, with a single-scroll, 6cm² A/R turbine housing designed for optimal spooling. The compressor side features a 46mm inducer and a 78mm exducer, housed within a large inlet (~102mm) and outlet (~74mm) compressor cover. It utilizes an oil-cooled system and an internal wastegate, with a maximum boost pressure rating of 25-35 psi. Installation and optimal performance require supporting modifications.
