The Rotrex C30-74 Supercharger Black Edition Head Unit is engineered to deliver strong mid-range response and efficient airflow for demanding street and track applications. Its core is Rotrex's patented planetary traction drive system, which ensures smooth, responsive boost delivery, exceptional efficiency, and quiet operation, distinguishing it from traditional turbochargers. This supercharger unit is capable of supporting power outputs ranging from 184 to 347 hp, with a maximum boost pressure of 1.82 BarG (26.4 PSI). It features a 50 mm impeller diameter and can reach maximum impeller speeds of 120,000 rpm. The recommended engine displacement for optimal performance is between 1.6 to 2.5 liters, with peak horsepower outputs typically between 150 to 300 BHP. The Black Edition features a stealth black finish for enhanced engine bay aesthetics. Installation of this unit requires careful consideration of several factors. It is crucial to verify the pulley ratio, maximum impeller speed, correct rotation direction, required oil system, belt alignment, and ensure adequate engine tuning and fuel system capacity. Compatibility depends on the complete supercharger kit, the specific vehicle application, and all supporting components. A pulley and an oil cooler are sold separately and will be required for a complete system.
