Overview

It works by passing the supercharger charge air coolant through the chiller unit, where it is further cooled by the vehicle's refrigerant. This chilled coolant then flows through coolant bricks in the supercharger housing to cool the compressed air entering the intake ports.

This system offers two modes of operation: street mode, which allows for cabin AC and lower intake air temperatures (IAT), and drag race mode, where refrigerant is diverted from the cabin to the chiller unit for maximum cooling performance.

This system provides a "bolt-on" solution, avoiding any cutting or splicing into the OEM AC system, and includes pre-assembled lines, hoses, fittings, and clamps. In street mode, the system allows for normal cabin AC functionality while simultaneously lowering IAT. The supercharger's charge air coolant is routed through the IC Chiller unit, where it is cooled by the AC refrigerant. This chilled coolant is then circulated through coolant bricks integrated into the supercharger housing, effectively cooling the compressed air before it enters the engine's intake ports. This denser, cooler air charge enables the engine to receive more oxygen, leading to increased power potential when combined with appropriate fueling. For enhanced performance during drag racing or track use, the system features a "drag race mode." Activated via a rocker switch, this mode diverts the AC system's refrigerant exclusively to the chiller unit, bypassing the cabin to maximize the cooling capacity for the intercooler. The system includes a solenoid on the liquid line to the cabin, enabling these two distinct modes of operation. It includes all necessary components such as a mounting bracket, a drag valve with a connector, and a wiring kit featuring Deutsch connectors for the drag valve and optional 3-way bypass valve.
