This system features the Vortech V3 Si centrifugal supercharger, engineered for impressive power output while maintaining compatibility with the stock engine. The supercharger's helical cut gears ensure quiet operation at idle and low speeds, becoming more vocal at wide-open throttle, and its 3.61:1 step-up ratio provides seemingly endless power as RPMs increase. Precision-crafted from reinforced steel, the included mounting brackets are laser-cut and powder-coated for durability and aesthetics. To ensure robust performance and longevity, the kit incorporates a high-performance 6-rib system with specialized JHM Supercharger Kit pulleys, including a balanced alternator, crank, and supercharger pulley capable of 7 to 8 pounds of boost. Acknowledging the limitations of the factory PCV system under boost, an optional billet PCV system is available to replace vulnerable stock components with a serviceable alternative. The supercharger is strategically positioned on the passenger side beneath the headlight, necessitating proprietary JHM silicone inlet and outlet hoses. The inlet hose is reinforced to prevent vacuum collapse, and an included serviceable conical air filter captures incoming air. This kit integrates a front-mount Air-to-Air intercooler, averaging only a 4-7°C increase in Intake Air Temperature (IAT) during a quarter-mile pass. This intercooler replaces the factory crash bar while preserving original oil cooler mounting and tow hook functionality. The kit offers various software stages: Stage 3 (ECU/TCU) is designed for stock catalytic converters, capable of 4-5 psi and optimized for low-to-mid 7000 rpm shifts. Stage 3+ (ECU/TCU) requires JHM Headers and is suitable for catless or high-flow cat configurations, capable of 6-7 psi and high 7000 rpm shifts. Stage 4 software is also available. The product is sold for racing or off-road use only and is not street-legal. Installation requires a Windows computer, wired broadband internet, a JHM Tuning-Flashing Cable, and a battery charger. Additional required components include the JHM 6-Rib Accessory Belt Conversion Kit, JHM Billet PCV Kit, Motor Mounts, and specific flashing methods may require additional purchases or services, such as an ECU Unlock Service if the ECU has a specific software update.
