The Forge Motorsport Upper Airbox Induction Kit (FMINDK43) is meticulously crafted from prepreg 2x2 twill carbon fibre and finished with an anti-UV gloss gel coat, offering both aesthetic enhancement and functional improvement for the Toyota Yaris GR. This induction kit addresses the stock airbox's limitations in air quantity and flow direction, utilizing a cone filter positioned optimally within the lower airbox for superior flow into the inlet tract. Engineered through extensive real-world and dyno testing, this kit ensures performance gains without compromising driveability. It features an increased intake pipe diameter from the stock 80mm to 89mm, resulting in a significant volumetric increase. When paired with other Forge Motorsport products like the Inlet Duct (FMINLD1) or Turbo Inlet Adaptor (FMTIA8), the system ensures a consistent cold air feed and a smooth airflow path to the turbocharger, minimizing restrictions and potentially improving acceleration after deceleration or gear changes. It delivers documented performance improvements, with an average of 13bhp and 8nm of peak torque at the wheels when used with the stock turbo inlet. Furthermore, gains of 15-20nm of torque are observed between 2000-3600rpm.
