The DBA Street Series Gold Cross-Drilled/Slotted Brake Rotor (DBA2898X) by Disc Brakes Australia is engineered for drivers who desire performance braking capabilities exceeding standard OE levels. This direct-fit rotor is constructed from high carbon alloyed iron and features Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) to ensure it can withstand the elevated stress and heat generated during intense braking applications. This rotor incorporates DBA's patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation system, which utilizes 144 diamond and teardrop-shaped pillars. With an outside diameter of 302 mm, a nominal and discard thickness of 28 mm, and an overall height of 54 mm, this vented rotor is designed as a front replacement. It features a cross-drilled and slotted surface for improved heat dissipation and a cleaner pad surface. The rotor has a center hole diameter of 96.2 mm and 5 stud/lug holes. This specific DBA2898X rotor is designed as a direct replacement for the 2003-2006 Kia Sorento.
