Description

The Rough Country HD Forged Tie Rod Kit is engineered as a robust replacement for OEM tie rod assemblies, ideal for demanding off-road use and heavy-load towing. This kit offers bend-resistant durability and a smoother ride with improved turn-in response for increased safety. Constructed from forged SAE1045 steel for the outer tie rods with heat-treated 4140 chromoly ball studs, and featuring a 4140 steel inner adjustment shaft with a SAE1045 steel ball-joint housing, these tie rods are built to withstand extreme stress and aggressive use. The 22mm adjustment threads allow for precise alignment tuning and added clamping strength. This kit provides a complete replacement for both inner and outer tie rod assemblies. Installation is a straightforward, no-cutting, bolt-on process. A vehicle alignment is required after installation. For lifted applications (5"-7.5"), the tie rod must be installed from the top down. The kit is compatible with the following vehicles: 2001-2006 Chevy Silverado 3500 4WD, 2007-2010 GMC Sierra 3500 HD 4WD, 2001-2010 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD 4WD, 2001-2010 GMC Sierra 2500 HD 4WD, 2001-2006 GMC Sierra 3500 4WD, and 2007-2010 Chevy Silverado 3500 HD 4WD.
