This system is ideal for drivers looking for a genuine coil-over setup rather than a sleeve-over and damper combination. Each TEIN Basic damper is engineered specifically for US-market vehicles, leveraging the same advanced technology and manufacturing processes used in TEIN's premium damper systems, but at a considerably lower cost. The kit includes height-adjustable shocks or struts, main springs, lower spring seats, seat locks, thrust washers, rubber bump stops, dust covers, hook spanners, and an instruction manual. Strut-type suspensions will come with an upper spring seat, depending on the specific application. Specifications for this system include front and rear spring rates of 336 lbs per inch (6 kg per mm) and a ride height adjustment of -1.7 inches (-42mm) for both front and rear. This specific TEIN Basic coil-over system, model DSP06-LUSS2, is designed for the 1995-1998 NISSAN 240SX.
