Overview

The VF Engineering Supercharger System is designed to dramatically enhance throttle response and mid-to-top-end power for the 1997-1998 BMW Z3 2.8L (M52 engine). This system employs a centrifugal Vortech V3 Si-Trim supercharger, delivering performance gains at a 6 psi boost level. VF Engineering has focused on maintaining the original BMW quality, smoothness, and reliability through custom software and rigorous testing, resolving common issues like stalling and MAF errors found in other systems. The kit includes high-capacity fuel injectors, a K&N induction filter, and custom ECU tuning programmed using VF's proprietary flash technology to optimize engine parameters and fuel management. Key components include the Vortech V3 Si-Trim supercharger, T3 Hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum bracket, Chrome-moly support bracket, polypropylene air charge pipes, K&N Induction filter with a splash-resistant sock, high-capacity fuel injectors, a crankcase ventilation system, and a Bosch bypass valve circuit. The system also utilizes the OEM serpentine belt and is designed for easy installation with an approximate time of 8 hours. It is fully reversible and manufactured in California, USA. Please note: This product is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle as per the California Air Resources Board. The system is compatible with the BMW Z3 2.8L with the M52 2.8L engine. The manufacturer's estimated installation time is 6-8 hours.
