This sophisticated, bolt-on system elevates performance beyond the standard Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons and full-floating rotors for superior self-centering. The calipers themselves are a marvel of engineering, featuring a one-piece construction from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum. This monolithic design eliminates weak spots inherent in cast or welded calipers, preventing fracturing, warpage, and failure. The calipers are equipped with aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and corrosion immunity, ensuring consistent operation even under extreme conditions. An opposed-piston design guarantees even brake pad grip and wear, while high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates are standard. The two-piece design allows the outer rotor section to expand and contract independently, minimizing the risk of warping due to heat buildup. The center sections are crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, acting as effective heat sinks and contributing to a longer service life. Customers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driving to run cooler, or slotted rotors, ideal for track use as they help dissipate heat, dust, and gases. Included in the standard kit are (2) Forged, Monoblock Aluminum Calipers, (2) Lightweight Two-Piece Rotors (Slotted or Drilled), (1) Set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, (2) Stainless Steel Brake Lines, and all required mounting components and hardware.
