SuperComp 2-Piece Floating Disc Assembly Kit

This kit integrates new brake technology to continually cool and refresh the brake pad surface under braking, ensuring consistent performance. The SuperComp caliper is an extreme lightweight, forged aircraft-quality billet aluminum component with differential bore configuration and larger pistons than standard ProComp calipers. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates for enhanced durability and performance. The 2-piece floating disc assembly reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, while also preventing thermal stresses from warping the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and expels gas and pad debris efficiently. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. Included are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines that improve pedal feel and response by preventing line expansion under pressure. Carbon steel caliper brackets, CNC machined for a precise fit, are also part of the kit, allowing the larger calipers to bolt directly onto the OEM caliper location.
