SuperComp 2-Piece Floating Disc Big Brake Kit

The SuperComp caliper, a key component of this kit, is exceptionally lightweight, weighing just over 7 lbs. It is precision-machined from aircraft-quality billet and features a differential bore piston configuration with substantially larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, ensuring durability and performance under demanding conditions. The opposed piston caliper design contributes to improved pad wear and increased caliper rigidity compared to OEM components. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent fluid expansion under pressure, maintaining consistent pedal feel. The kit includes Ksport's 2-piece floating disc assembly. This design reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, contributing to better vehicle dynamics. The floating nature of the disc also dissipates thermal stresses caused by extreme heat, preventing warping of the disc and the braking surface. Rotor options include unique slot designs that reduce braking noise and expedite the expulsion of gas and pad debris. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for vehicles experiencing more track use.
