SuperComp 2-Piece Floating Disc Big Brake Kit

This kit significantly enhances braking capabilities by reducing brake fade and actively cooling the brake pads during use, thanks to integrated new brake technology. The SuperComp caliper itself is a masterpiece of engineering, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and featuring substantially larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp series calipers. Its opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM components, while the included stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure, leading to a more responsive pedal. This system utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which not only reduces both rotating and unsprung weight but also mitigates thermal stresses that can lead to disc warping or surface cupping. The rotors feature unique slot designs that minimize braking noise and efficiently expel gas and pad debris. For enhanced performance and heat management, the rotors are heat-treated and balanced. The kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance on the street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads are also available for more extreme track conditions. Ksport provides a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects.
