SuperComp 2-Piece Floating Disc Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for your vehicle. Designed for the Volkswagen G60 Corrado (1990-1995), this kit integrates advanced brake technology to reduce brake fade and continually cool the brake pads. The SuperComp caliper is forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, weighing just over 7 lbs each. It features differential bore configurations with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless steel brake lines minimize expansion under pressure. Each caliper in this SuperComp series requires four brake pads. This kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc design prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface under extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, made from NAOC ceramic material, designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads, made from carbon metallic, are available for extreme track use but are not recommended for street driving due to their high operating temperature requirements.
