Overview

This kit features a one-piece forged aluminum caliper construction for lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, paired with aluminum pistons for improved heat management. It includes two-piece floating rotors available in slotted or cross-drilled styles, stainless-steel braided brake lines for a firmer pedal feel, and SC5 Street Pads.

The Supercomp system is a sophisticated bolt-on upgrade, requiring minimal tools and no vehicle modifications for installation in most applications. The kit also offers customization options for caliper color, center bell upgrades, and an upgrade to RCI Race Pads.

The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, crafted from aircraft-quality billet, boasts a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons compared to standard calipers. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while the stainless steel brake lines ensure consistent performance by resisting expansion under pressure. This kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and braking surface cupping. Ksport's unique rotor slot design actively reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris, outperforming conventional slot designs. Every rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing for optimal performance. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation. Slotted rotors, as featured in this kit, are ideal for vehicles subjected to more track use. The integrated brake technology and robust construction ensure enhanced performance and longevity for demanding driving conditions.
