SuperComp 2-Piece Floating Disc Brake Kit

This system integrates advanced brake technology with a caliper designed for extreme lightweight construction, weighing just over 7 lbs. The SuperComp caliper features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than standard ProComp calipers and is precisely machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates for enhanced durability and performance. The caliper design incorporates machined-in protection grooves for bridge tubes and an opposed piston configuration that improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. The included stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure, ensuring consistent pedal feel. For larger caliper sizes found in the ProComp series, four brake pads per caliper are standard. The SuperComp systems come equipped with a 2-piece floating disc assembly. This design not only reduces rotating and unsprung weight but also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and cupping of the braking surface. Each rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing prior to shipment for optimal performance. While cross-drilled rotors offer cooler operation and are recommended for daily-driven vehicles, slotted rotors are ideal for vehicles that see more track use. This kit is specifically designed to fit 2WD vehicles; compatibility with 4WD vehicles is not guaranteed unless explicitly stated.
