Overview

Integrating new brake technology, this kit significantly reduces brake fade and continually cools the brake pads surface. The SuperComp caliper is machined from aircraft quality billet and features larger pistons in a differential bore configuration. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates for improved durability and performance. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The 2-piece floating disc assembly reduces rotating and unsprung weight, preventing warping from thermal stress. The unique slot design on the rotor expels gas and pad debris faster, and each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance.

This advanced brake system features a lightweight SuperComp caliper, machined from aircraft quality billet, weighing just over 7 lbs. The caliper boasts a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than ProComp calipers, paired with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel wear plates for enhanced longevity and performance. Its opposed piston design improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM setups, while the stainless steel brake lines ensure consistent pressure without expansion. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly that minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight, crucial for reducing stress and preventing rotor warping. The rotors feature a unique slot design to quickly expel gases and pad material, and are heat-treated and balanced for peak performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles with significant track use, while cross-drilled rotors are better suited for daily drivers. The SuperComp system is specifically designed for the Mitsubishi Galant, model years 2004-2012, and is compatible with 2WD vehicles only.
