Supercomp 2-Piece Floating Disc Front Big Brake Kit

The kit features extreme lightweight SuperComp calipers, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. These calipers have a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than standard ProComp calipers, weighing just over 7 lbs each. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the large size of the SuperComp calipers, each caliper utilizes four brake pads. The 2-piece floating disc assembly is standard, reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. This design also prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or affecting the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design to reduce braking noise and expel gas and debris efficiently. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler than slotted rotors, which are better suited for track use.
