Supercomp 330mm 8-Piston Front Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is a high-performance braking solution for the BMW E36 3-Series, offering superior stopping power and heat management. This kit includes 330mm diameter, drilled, 2-piece floating rotors designed to reduce weight and dissipate heat effectively. The calipers are forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, featuring a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. Each SuperComp caliper is equipped with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. Due to the substantial size of the SuperComp calipers, each unit utilizes four brake pads to maximize surface area and improve pad wear. The 2-piece floating disc assembly is standard, which minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight, while also preventing thermal stress from causing disc warping or surface cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design to reduce braking noise and expel gas and debris more efficiently. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler than slotted rotors, which are better suited for track use. The kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, made from NAOC ceramic material, offering optimal performance between 194°F – 1022°F and reducing brake dust by over 50%. An optional upgrade to Ksport RC5 Race Pads, made from carbon metallic material for extreme track conditions, is also available.
