SuperComp 330mm Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp rear big brake kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power, integrating advanced brake technology to minimize brake fade and maintain consistent performance. The heart of the kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, precision-forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. Standard components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the included stainless-steel braided brake lines resist expansion under pressure for improved pedal feel and quicker response. Due to the caliper size, four brake pads are standard per caliper in this series. The 2-piece floating disc assembly is standard, reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. This design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Buyers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to cooler operation, or slotted rotors, better suited for track use. Alternatively, Race Pads (RC5 carbon metallic) are available for extreme track conditions (482°F – 1472°F operating temperature), though not recommended for street use. All Ksport big brake kits are made to order and are non-refundable, covered by a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturer defects.
