The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit offers significant stopping power improvements for your Mercedes-Benz W203 C-Class. The kit integrates advanced brake technology for straightforward installation with minimal tools, typically fitting OEM caliper locations. The SuperComp caliper is an extreme lightweight design forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It features larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, a differential bore configuration, and comes standard with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This series requires four brake pads per caliper due to its size. The 2-piece floating disc assembly included in this kit reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. It also prevents thermal stresses from extreme heat, thus avoiding disc warping or braking surface cupping. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance, with cross-drilled options recommended for daily drivers as they tend to run cooler than slotted rotors. This kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC ceramic pads designed for optimal street and occasional track use. They operate effectively between 194°F – 1022°F, reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads, and minimize noise and rotor wear. Optional RC5 Race Pads, made of carbon metallic, are available for extreme track conditions but are not recommended for street use due to their higher operating temperature range (482°F – 1472°F). Fitment is confirmed for the following Mercedes-Benz W203 C-Class models: C32 AMG (M112K 3.2L), C350 (M272 3.5L), and C55 AMG (M113 5.4L) from 2001-2007.
