It includes larger pistons, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and rigidity, while the stainless-steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure. The SuperComp systems come standard with a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces weight and prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc. The rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Customers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily drivers, or slotted rotors, best suited for track use. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track conditions with reduced dust and noise. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads are available for extreme track use. The kit includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure proper fitment with OEM caliper locations.
