The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for your Volkswagen MK3 Jetta. The SuperComp caliper is forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, featuring a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than standard calipers. It weighs just over 7 lbs each and includes protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel braided brake lines improve pedal feel and response. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces rotating and unsprung weight while preventing thermal stress from warping the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and effectively expels gas and pad debris. Cross-drilled rotors are standard for daily driven vehicles, offering cooler operation and enhanced bite. For those seeking more track-focused performance, slotted rotors are also available.
