The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide superior stopping power for your Subaru Impreza STI 1993-1998. This rear brake system features a Super 8 Pot caliper and a 356mm diameter, 32mm wide rotor, available with a drilled or slotted design and a floating rotor type. Each caliper is CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, resulting in a lightweight yet incredibly strong component. The opposed-piston caliper design enhances pad grip and reduces uneven wear compared to OEM designs. It also features aluminum pistons for corrosion resistance and improved heat management, along with heavy-duty seals for high-temperature performance. The kit includes stainless steel brake lines to prevent expansion under pressure. The two-piece rotor assembly, combined with an aluminum center, reduces rotational mass for quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. Ksport utilizes a unique slot design on the rotor to minimize braking noise and efficiently expel heat, gas, and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For street use, SC5 Street pads with a ceramic compound are recommended, while RC1 Race Pads are suggested for track applications.
