The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver superior stopping power for your Audi B4 80. This advanced system integrates new brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool and refresh the brake pad surface under heavy braking conditions. At the heart of the kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It features a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, weighing just over 7 lbs each and incorporating machined protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while the included stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Each caliper requires four brake pads due to its substantial size. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing rotor warping or cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris efficiently. These rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. The cross-drilled rotors, as shown in orange, tend to run cooler than slotted versions and are recommended for daily-driven vehicles. This kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance under street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust and noise. An option for Ksport RC5 Race Pads, made of carbon metallic for extreme track use, is also available. It is important to note that this product is made to order and is non-refundable.
