The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide the ultimate in stopping power for your Volkswagen MK5 Jetta. This advanced braking system integrates new technology to dramatically reduce brake fade and continuously cools the brake pads under load. At the core of this kit are the extreme lightweight SuperComp calipers, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. These calipers feature a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons than standard ProComp models, improving pad wear and caliper rigidity. They are equipped with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design, combined with stainless steel brake lines that prevent expansion under pressure, ensures a firm pedal feel and quicker response. Each caliper in the SuperComp series utilizes four brake pads due to their substantial size. The braking system includes 356mm x 32mm, 2-piece floating rotors. This design reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, while also mitigating thermal stresses that can lead to disc warping or cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design to reduce braking noise and expel gas and pad debris efficiently. Cross-drilled rotors are standard, recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler running characteristics. The kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions with optimal operating temperatures between 194°F – 1022°F. An option for RC5 Race Pads is available for extreme track use. This Ksport Big Brake Kit is a made-to-order item and is non-refundable once the order is placed. It is compatible with the Volkswagen MK5 Jetta models from 2006-2010, including variants with 2.5L, TDi, 2.0T TSI (08.5+), and GLI 2.0T FSI (06-08) / TSI (08.5+) engines. The kit includes carbon steel caliper brackets specifically machined for your vehicle to ensure a direct bolt-on fitment to the OEM caliper location.
