The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver ultimate stopping power for your Porsche 955/957 Cayenne Turbo. This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pads during use, ensuring consistent performance even under demanding conditions. The SuperComp caliper is an extreme lightweight design forged from aircraft-quality 6061-T6 billet aluminum, weighing just over 7 lbs. It features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, improving pad wear and caliper rigidity. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances rigidity and pad wear, while the D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines minimize expansion under pressure for improved pedal feel and response. This kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc design mitigates thermal stresses caused by extreme heat, preventing disc warping and surface cupping. Rotors feature a unique slot design to reduce braking noise and expedite the expulsion of gas and pad debris. Customers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operation, or slotted rotors, better suited for track use. Standard on this kit are Ksport SC5 Street Pads, crafted from NAOC ceramic material for optimal performance between 194°F – 1022°F, offering reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear compared to race pads. An optional upgrade to Ksport RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) is available for those seeking maximum stopping power in extreme track conditions, though these are not recommended for street use.
