The Ksport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide ultimate stopping power for your Mercedes Benz W204 C-Class 4 Matic. Integrating advanced brake technology, this kit significantly reduces brake fade and ensures continuous cooling and refreshing of the brake pad surface during use. The SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, is an extreme lightweight design weighing just over 7 lbs. It features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, offering enhanced braking performance. Standard components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The opposed piston design boosts pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper's size, four brake pads are standard per caliper. This kit features a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design mitigates thermal stresses, preventing disc warping and cupping under extreme heat. The rotors have a unique slot design that minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced. The kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads.
