The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit represents an extreme brake upgrade engineered to provide superior stopping power for your Mazda CX-5 (2013-2016, 4WD) without necessitating vehicle modifications for installation. Building upon the foundations of the Procomp kit, this Supercomp version boasts significantly larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors for improved self-centering within the caliper. The caliper construction utilizes a one-piece design forged from aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring exceptional lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons are incorporated to enhance heat dissipation and maintain reliable operation under demanding conditions. This kit features a floating two-piece rotor design, standard on all Supercomp systems. This not only reduces brake drag but also contributes to improved performance through more consistent pad application. For customization, Ksport offers a wide array of caliper color options, including standard painted finishes like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, as well as premium high-polish finishes in Silver, Gold, and Titanium, plus Glassy/Hard Anodized Colors. With over 20,000 custom color finishes available, the personalization possibilities are extensive. Included are SC5 Street Pads, formulated to provide optimal braking performance for both street driving and occasional track use. These pads are designed to reduce brake dust by at least 50% compared to race pads, while also minimizing noise and rotor wear. They operate effectively within a temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. The kit specifies a 380mm rotor diameter, a 32mm rotor width, and a slotted rotor style. The standard kit includes two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (available as slotted or drilled), one set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware, along with an owner's manual.
