The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide superior stopping power for your BMW F15 X5. This comprehensive kit includes 380mm diameter, 32mm thick rotors, cross-drilled for improved cooling and recommended for daily driven vehicles. The SuperComp caliper is a standout component, forged from aircraft-grade billet aluminum with a lightweight design and a differential bore configuration. It features larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, enhancing rigidity and pad wear. Key features of this kit include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design significantly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM setups. The kit also incorporates stainless-steel brake lines, which resist expansion under pressure, leading to improved pedal feel and quicker response. Each caliper in the SuperComp series requires four brake pads due to its substantial size. The 2-piece floating disc assembly is standard, reducing both rotating and unsprung weight while preventing thermal stresses from causing disc warping or cupping. The unique rotor slot design minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Ksport offers SC5 Street Pads as standard, made from NAOC ceramic material for optimal street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise. Alternatively, RC5 Race Pads, made from carbon metallic material, are available for extreme track conditions but are not recommended for street use due to their high operating temperatures. This big brake kit is specifically designed for the BMW F15 X5 models from 2014-2018, including the sDrive35d (N57 3.0L), sDrive35i (N55 3.0L), xDrive 35i (N55 3.0L), and xDrive 50i (N63 4.4L).
