Supercomp 380mm Front Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide superior stopping power for the Porsche 996 911 Twin Turbo. This kit integrates advanced brake technology to minimize brake fade and ensure consistent pad cooling during demanding driving conditions. The SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, features a lightweight design (just over 7 lbs.) with larger pistons for enhanced performance compared to OEM calipers. It incorporates aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium retainer clips, and stainless steel wear plates, all contributing to improved rigidity and pad longevity. Each kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, while also mitigating thermal stress to prevent disc warping. The unique rotor slot design helps to reduce braking noise and efficiently expel gas and debris. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation. Slotted rotors are suggested for more track-focused applications. Standard configuration includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance on the street and occasional track use with an operating temperature range of 194°F – 1022°F. Optional upgrades include Ksport RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic, for extreme track conditions, operating temperature 482°F – 1472°F), various caliper color options, titanium center bell upgrades, and different pad choices. The kit also features CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct OEM location fitment and D.O.T. compliant stainless steel braided brake lines for improved pedal feel and response. Fitment is specific to the Porsche 911 996 Turbo (1998-2005) with the 3.6L Turbo engine and Porsche 911 996 Turbo S (1998-2005) with the 3.6L Turbo engine.
