The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power, engineered with advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continually refresh the brake pad surface during use. The SuperComp caliper, a key component of this kit, is distinguished by its extreme lightness and differential bore configuration, housing larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. It is precision-machined from aircraft-quality billet and weighs a mere 7 lbs., featuring integrated protection grooves for its bridge tubes. Standard inclusions for each caliper are aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, contributing to improved pad wear and enhanced caliper rigidity over stock designs. The opposed piston caliper architecture further optimizes performance. This kit utilizes 380mm slotted, 2-piece floating rotors. The 2-piece design actively combats thermal stress from extreme heat, preventing rotor warping and cupping of the braking surface, while also reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. Ksport heat-treats and balances every rotor to ensure optimal performance. For vehicles prioritizing track use, slotted rotors are recommended due to their effectiveness in heat management and debris expulsion, compared to cross-drilled rotors which are better suited for daily driving.
