The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit represents an extreme front brake upgrade engineered to deliver the highest level of stopping power for your Audi MK1 TT Quattro. This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and actively cool the brake pads during strenuous use, ensuring consistent performance. The SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, features a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines provide a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by eliminating expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper's size, four brake pads are supplied per caliper. This kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes rotating and unsprung weight and prevents thermal stress from causing disc warping or cupping. The unique rotor slot design reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced, with cross-drilled options recommended for daily drivers and slotted options for track applications. This kit is available with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance under street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust and noise. Alternatively, Ksport RC5 Race Pads, made of carbon metallic, provide maximum stopping power for extreme track conditions but are not recommended for street use due to their high optimal operating temperature range.
