The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver ultimate stopping power for your BMW E46 3-Series (1999-2006), specifically for 330Ci and 330i models with the M54 3.0L engine. Constructed with an extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, this caliper boasts a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp series. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Each SuperComp caliper requires four brake pads due to its size. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design for reduced braking noise and faster expulsion of gas and pad debris. Cross-drilled rotors are included, recommended for daily-driven vehicles for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are available for more track-focused use. Ksport offers standard SC5 Street Pads, made from NAOC ceramic material, designed for optimal performance on the street and occasional track use with an average coefficient of friction between .46 and .53. Optional RC5 Race Pads, made of carbon metallic material, are available for extreme track conditions, with optimal operating temperatures between 482°F – 1472°F and not recommended for street use.
