The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide enhanced stopping power for the Volkswagen Golf MK4, model years 1999-2005, specifically for the 1.8T variant. This rear brake upgrade features a 4-piston caliper and 330mm x 32mm floating rotors with a slotted design, recommended for track use due to their ability to expel heat, dust, and gases efficiently. Constructed with a lightweight, one-piece caliper machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, this kit offers unparalleled strength and reduced unsprung weight. The opposed-piston caliper design significantly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. The two-piece rotor assembly, featuring an aluminum center, further reduces rotational mass for quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances, while mitigating rotor warpage. The kit includes replacement calipers, rotors, pads (with options for SC5 Street or RC1 Race pads), brake lines, and all necessary hardware. Standard color options for the calipers include Orange, Red, Yellow, and Black, with over 20,000 custom upgradeable colors available.
