This sophisticated bolt-on system enhances braking performance through larger calipers, rotors, and pads compared to the Procomp kit. Key features include a lightweight, forged one-piece caliper constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum for strength and corrosion resistance, utilizing aluminum pistons for improved heat management. The kit employs CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure proper alignment with OEM mounting locations. Its floating two-piece rotor design allows for slight adjustments, promoting better self-centering within the caliper, reducing brake drag, and improving performance through more even pad application. Standard SC5 Street Brake Pads are included, offering a balance of braking performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by eliminating line expansion under pressure. The rotors are available in slotted or cross-drilled options. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use due to their ability to expel gas and pad debris more effectively, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler. This specific kit includes (2) forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, (2) lightweight two-piece slotted rotors, one set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, (2) stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware. The rotor specifications are 330mm in diameter, 32mm in width, and feature a floating design. This kit is designed to fit the Infiniti G35 V36 sedan models from 2007-2008, specifically excluding the 'S' model and AWD variants.
