Supercomp 400mm Front Big Brake Kit

The KSport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide superior stopping power for the BMW F3X 3-Series Sedan models, including the 320i and 328i, with N20 2.0L and N20/N26 2.0L engines, across model years 2012-2019. This kit features a substantial 400mm rotor diameter and 36mm thickness, paired with a high-performance 8-piston caliper. At the core of this system is KSport's SuperComp caliper, constructed from forged aircraft-quality billet aluminum. This caliper is designed with a differential bore configuration and significantly larger pistons compared to OEM, weighing just over 7 lbs each. It includes standard features such as aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances caliper rigidity and improves pad wear, while the included stainless-steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure. The kit incorporates a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design mitigates thermal stresses that can cause disc warping or cupping. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended as they tend to run cooler and offer increased bite while continuously cleaning and refreshing the pad surface. For those participating in more track-focused driving, slotted rotors are available and recommended. KSport SuperComp Big Brake Kits are made-to-order and are non-refundable. Customers can choose between Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance under street and occasional track conditions, or Ksport RC5 Race Pads, which are carbon metallic and intended for extreme track use with higher optimal operating temperatures.
