Supercomp 400mm x 36mm 8-Piston Front Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver ultimate stopping power for your BMW E39 M5. This front brake system integrates advanced technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pad surface during operation. The kit includes massive 400mm x 36mm two-piece floating rotors and extreme lightweight SuperComp calipers, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. These calipers feature a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp series, utilize aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper size, four brake pads are standard per caliper. The two-piece floating disc assembly reduces rotating and unsprung weight, and prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc. The unique rotor slot design minimizes braking noise and expels gas and debris more efficiently. Ksport offers cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler, and slotted rotors, recommended for track use. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC ceramic pads designed for optimal street and occasional track performance. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available for extreme track conditions but are not recommended for street use due to their higher optimal operating temperatures. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, improving pedal feel and response. Note that Ksport Big Brake Kits are made-to-order and non-refundable.
