The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power and heat management for your MINI F56 Cooper. Engineered with a 400mm x 36mm, 2-piece floating disc assembly, this kit is designed to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. The SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-grade billet aluminum, features differential bore configuration with large pistons, providing massive stopping power and efficient heat dissipation. Each caliper is equipped with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the stainless-steel braided brake lines prevent expansion under pressure, leading to improved pedal feel and quicker response. The kit comes standard with cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler. Ksport also offers slotted rotors for more track-oriented use. You can choose between Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance under street and occasional track conditions with reduced dust and noise, or RC5 Race Pads, constructed from carbon metallic for extreme track conditions. The calipers are available in a variety of colors, including Ksport Orange, Race Red, Caution Yellow, Jet Black, and Bold Blue, with premium finishes like Lightning Silver, High Silver Polish, High Gold Polish, Titanium, Glassy Green, Glassy Blue, Glassy Orange, Glassy Red, Glassy Black, and Hard Anodized Black available at an additional cost.
