The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide the ultimate stopping power for your Volkswagen MK3 Golf. This extreme front brake upgrade features a massive 400mm x 36mm 2-piece floating disc assembly and a lightweight, forged aircraft-quality billet aluminum SuperComp caliper with an 8-piston differential bore configuration. These larger pistons, compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers, offer significantly increased stopping force. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the stainless steel braided brake lines prevent expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response. The 2-piece floating rotor design minimizes weight and prevents thermal stress from warping or cupping the braking surface. Standard on this kit are cross-drilled rotors, which tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily driven vehicles, offering continuous cleaning and refreshing of the pad surface. The kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, featuring NAOC ceramic material for optimal braking performance under street and occasional track conditions, with reduced dust and noise.
