The KSport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver ultimate stopping power for your Mercedes Benz W219 CLS55 and CLS63 AMG. This kit includes a substantial 400mm x 36mm slotted rotor and a massive Supercomp 8-piston caliper, designed for significant improvements in braking performance. The innovative design integrates new brake technology to substantially reduce brake fade and actively cools the brake pads during operation. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM components, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure, leading to improved pedal feel and quicker response. The SuperComp systems feature a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping of the braking surface under extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotors helps reduce braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Ksport offers both cross-drilled rotors (recommended for daily driving as they run cooler) and slotted rotors (recommended for track use) to suit your driving needs. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are ceramic and offer optimal performance for street and occasional track use, while an optional carbon metallic RC5 Race Pad set is available for extreme track conditions.
