Supercomp 400mm x 36mm Slotted Front Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for your BMW 3 Series Sedan (2012-2018, F30 320, 328). This kit includes massive 400mm x 36mm slotted rotors and extreme lightweight SuperComp calipers. The calipers are forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, featuring a differential bore configuration with larger pistons for enhanced stopping force. They come standard with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design improves pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Each caliper requires four brake pads, and the kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, with an option to upgrade to RC5 Race Pads. The 2-piece floating disc assembly reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, while also preventing thermal stress from warping the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors, which tend to run cooler, are suggested for daily driven vehicles. The kit includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct bolt-on installation and D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for improved pedal feel and response.
