Supercomp 400x36mm Rear Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver superior stopping power for the rear of your Porsche 718 Boxster. Installation is intended to be straightforward, requiring minimal tools for most applications. The SuperComp caliper is a standout component, crafted from aircraft-quality billet aluminum for extreme lightness and rigidity. It features larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, improving pad wear and caliper strength. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances rigidity and pad wear, while the stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper's size, each one requires four brake pads. This kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also mitigates thermal stresses that can warp the disc or cup the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design to reduce noise and expel gas and debris, with both cross-drilled (recommended for daily drivers) and slotted (recommended for track use) options available. The system comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, made from NAOC ceramic for optimal street and occasional track use, with an option to upgrade to Ksport RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) for extreme track conditions. All Ksport Big Brake Kits are made to order and are non-refundable. The kit is compatible with the Porsche Boxster 982 718 (2017+) Base 2.0L and S 2.5L models. A 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects is included.
