The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide superior stopping power for your BMW E36 3-Series. This front brake upgrade integrates advanced technology to drastically reduce brake fade and continuously cools and refreshes the brake pad surface during braking. At the core of this kit are the extreme lightweight SuperComp calipers, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. These calipers feature a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp series, offering enhanced rigidity and improved pad wear. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The included two-piece floating disc assembly reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, while also preventing thermal stresses from warping the disc. Buyers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, which tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily driving, or slotted rotors, ideal for track use. This kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance under street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust and noise. For more extreme track use, Ksport RC5 Race Pads are available as an option. All Ksport big brake kits include D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which improve pedal feel and response, and come with a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturer defects.
