This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon the Procomp kit with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased piston count, and full-floating rotors for optimal self-centering within the caliper. The calipers themselves are forged from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight construction, exceptional strength, and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons are incorporated to enhance heat resistance and maintain consistent performance. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift slightly, improving self-centering, reducing brake drag, and enhancing performance through more even pad application. Standard with the Supercomp kit are SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, significantly reducing brake dust and noise while minimizing rotor wear. The kit also includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel.
