Supercomp 8-Piston 330x32mm Front Big Brake Kit

The KSport Supercomp Big Brake Kit offers a substantial upgrade in stopping power for your Volkswagen B5 Passat (1998-2005). This front-axle kit features extreme lightweight SuperComp calipers, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, which boast larger pistons and a differential bore configuration for enhanced performance. Each caliper weighs just over 7 lbs and comes standard with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. This system utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly with 330x32mm (13-inch) rotors. The floating design helps mitigate thermal stresses, reducing the risk of warping or cupping. The unique slot design on the rotors assists in reducing braking noise and expelling gasses and debris. Ksport offers both cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles due to cooler operation, and slotted rotors, recommended for track use. The kit includes stainless-steel braided brake lines, which improve pedal feel and response by eliminating line expansion under pressure. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal braking performance in street and occasional track conditions, with reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear. Optionally, RC5 Race Pads, made from carbon metallic, can be selected for extreme track conditions, though they are not recommended for street use due to their high operating temperature. The kit is made to order, and specific customization options are available, including various caliper colors and optional center bell upgrades. KSport provides a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects.
