Supercomp 8-Piston 380mm Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide superior stopping power for your BMW E36 3-Series. This front brake system integrates advanced technology to reduce brake fade and continually cool the brake pads during use. At the core of this kit are extreme lightweight SuperComp calipers, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. These calipers feature a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than standard ProComp calipers. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to their size, the SuperComp calipers utilize four brake pads per caliper. The SuperComp systems include a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which decreases both rotating and unsprung weight, and mitigates thermal stress that can warp the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor helps reduce braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This specific kit features cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures. Buyers can select between Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions, or Ksport RC5 Race Pads, for extreme track use. Customization options include various caliper colors, such as Orange, Race Red, Jet Black, and others, with some premium finishes incurring additional costs. The kit also offers optional upgrades for center bell materials.
