Supercomp 8-Piston 380mm Front Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit provides enhanced stopping power for your BMW E53 X5. This front kit features a massive 380mm x 15-inch drilled rotor paired with an extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper. The caliper is forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, boasts differential bore configuration with larger pistons, and weighs just over 7 lbs. each. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while the stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Each caliper requires four brake pads due to its size. The two-piece floating disc assembly reduces rotating and unsprung weight and prevents thermal stress warping. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and expels debris, while cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers as they tend to run cooler. This kit includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance on the street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. Optional Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available for extreme track conditions but are not recommended for street use. The kit comes with CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct bolt-up to OEM locations and D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for improved pedal feel and response.
