Building upon the Procomp kit, the Supercomp features larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering. Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the one-piece forged calipers are exceptionally lightweight, strong, and resistant to corrosion. They incorporate aluminum pistons that offer superior heat resistance. The two-piece floating rotor design allows for slight movement, improving self-centering, reducing drag, and ensuring more even pad application for boosted performance. Rotor options include slotted or cross-drilled designs, with cross-drilled recommended for daily drivers and slotted for track use. Included are NAOC Ceramic SC5 street pads, which provide optimal braking in street and occasional track conditions. These pads are designed to reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads and minimize noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. The kit also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent hose expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel.
