The Ksport Supercomp 8 Piston 380mm Front Big Brake Kit represents Ksport's most extreme brake upgrade, engineered to deliver superior stopping power without necessitating any vehicle modifications. This advanced kit builds upon the features of the Procomp kit, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons. The full-floating rotor design enhances self-centering within the caliper, minimizing brake drag and optimizing performance through more consistent application. Each caliper is precision-machined from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. The calipers are further equipped with aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat management and unwavering operational integrity. Standard on Supercomp systems, the two-piece floating rotors feature an outer section that allows for slight adjustments, improving self-centering for reduced drag and more even braking force. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic material for optimal performance in street and occasional track use. These pads significantly reduce brake dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads), minimize noise, and decrease rotor wear. They are designed to operate effectively within temperatures ranging from 194°F to 1022°F. Enhancing pedal feel and response, the kit also incorporates D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker and firmer pedal feel compared to standard rubber lines.
